Deleting a trigger
The following sections describe how to delete table and field triggers.
Note: When you delete a trigger from the Data Dictionary, you do not delete the trigger procedure itself.

To delete a table trigger:
- Choose Schema
Modify Table. The Data Dictionary alphabetically lists all the tables defined for your database.
- Select the table for which you want to delete the trigger. The Modify Table dialog box appears.
- Choose Triggers. The Table Triggers dialog box appears.
- Delete the trigger filename for the trigger you want to remove.
- Choose OK to return to the Modify Table dialog box.

To delete a field trigger:
- Choose Schema
Field Editor. The Field Editor alphabetically lists all the tables defined for your database.
- Select the table for which you want to delete the trigger. The Field Editor appears.
- Choose Triggers.
- Choose the field for which you want to delete the trigger. The Field Triggers dialog box appears.
- Delete the trigger filename for the trigger you want to remove.
- Choose OK in the Field Triggers dialog box to return to the Field Editor.
